R&B, shaped by what Shaggy has long described as his role as

Largely self-produced
alongside longtime collaborator Shane Hoosong, the album’s 13 songs
build on that foundation. Rather than anchoring himself to a single
genre, Shaggy, managed by Martin Kierszenbaum/Cherrytree Music
Company, continues to refine a sound rooted in Jamaican music
traditions while remaining open to global influences and
contemporary production. That hybridity, often questioned early in
his career, remains central to both his identity and
longevity.
