Lovers Rock legend Susan Cadogan is back with a new album! Its a celebration of Ms. Cadogans more recent team up with Canadian producer Mitch "King Kong" Girio. Girio has been a member and/or producer of several well-known Canadian ska acts since the early '90s including The Kingpins, King Apparatus, Lo & the Magnetics and Prince Perry.
In a long-distance musical relationship that spans the globe, Cadogan and Girio deliver their slice of rootsy Jamaican fare... Though the pair have never met in person they have managed to serve up their gritty authentic sound with the help of such ska luminaries as ""Lucky"" Pete Lambert (The Trojans) on drums and Jammal Tarkington/ Rodney Teague (Keyser Soze) on horns. Susan Cadogans career erupted in 1975 with her Lee Scratch Perry produced album which included sizzling tracks like ""Hurt So Good"" (# 4 in the UK singles chart), ""Fever"" and ""Nice and Easy"".
Susan has continued to release incredible music with a string of singles over the years working with producers such as Pete Waterman and Mad Professor and has collaborated with such greats as Glen Adams, The Slackers, Ruddy Thomas and Ken Boothe.
